Greet children by name. Give them time to settle, share and feel included. A kind classroom helps questions and faith grow.

Prepare one lovely small step

Use the current catechism text and syllabus for your school or parish. Choose one idea, a Bible connection, a short prayer and an activity your children can enjoy.

• Make room for different ages and learning needs.
• Listen to children’s questions with patience.
• Connect the lesson with friendship, family and everyday kindness.
• End with something simple to remember or try.

Earlier question papers are available for reference. Check the year, class and language; an older paper does not set the current syllabus.
